Health and Family Welfare Minister Sarafat Hossain has alleged that the defeated forces of 1971 and cohorts of fascism have united to conspire against the country. He called upon everyone to jointly resist any malicious attempts to disrupt national development and stability. Speaking as the chief guest on Sunday afternoon at a views-exchange meeting titled "Duties of BNP and its affiliate leaders and activists against destabilizing the country through planned terrorism," held at the Manikganj District Shilpakala Academy auditorium, the minister made these remarks.

Sarafat Hossain said, "The defeated forces of '71 talk about our downfall in December. And sitting in Delhi, the cohorts of fascism say they will return in December and deal with us. Today, these two dark forces have united with the intention of confronting us. But why? Because we have secured a place in the hearts of the people and won their love." The Health Minister further stated, "We have no neighboring masters, only friends."

Regarding Adani's electricity supply, the minister alleged that supply has been halved to create a power deficit in the country and provoke public discontent and anger. On fertilizer dealerships, Sarafat Hossain said that although some previous dealers were agents of fascism, as a democratic government, no one was arbitrarily excluded, claiming the government holds no political malice. Criticizing quick rental power plants, the minister said, "Quick rentals were basically 'thief rentals'." He alleged that these plants were given to specific groups to siphon off crores of taka, questioning where many of those plants are now and why they are failing to generate electricity.

Speaking about BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, the minister claimed that the party leader has established himself as an acceptable political personality among the people of the country. He claimed that following his address at the United Nations, international recognition of his leadership has also emerged. Sarafat Hossain accused opponents of engaging in various conspiracies out of failure to accept this reality, adding that attempts are being made to create chaos through minor blasts, processions, or hanging banners in various places.
