An anti-mosquito and cleanliness drive was conducted in Ward 8 of Pabna on Saturday morning to raise public awareness, destroy mosquito breeding grounds, and ensure a clean environment to prevent dengue. Organized by the district administration in collaboration with Pabna Municipality and assisted by the Scout team of Square School and College, the campaign was attended by Deputy Commissioner Aminul Islam, Local Government Division Deputy Director and Municipal Administrator Khairul Islam, Additional District Magistrate Litton Dhali, and other senior officials.

The team inspected and cleaned potential breeding sites, stagnant water, and garbage areas near Jamia Ashrafia Madrasa and Masum Bazar, while distributing dengue awareness leaflets to local residents. Officials emphasized that community participation is essential alongside administrative efforts to eliminate mosquito breeding sources.
