“Nationalist Forces Will Never Surrender to Anti-National Conspiracies”: Ruhul Kabir Rizvi
BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi speaking at a discussion organized by Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal at Dhaka University's Senate Bhaban on Wednesday to mark the 7th death anniversary of Martyr Abrar Fahad.

BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has asserted that nationalist forces in Bangladesh will never surrender to anti-national conspiracies or aggressive external influences, reaffirming their commitment to defend the nation's independence and territorial integrity to the last drop of blood.

Addressing a discussion organized by Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal at the Senate Bhaban of Dhaka University on Wednesday afternoon (October 7, 2026) to mark the 7th death anniversary of BUET student Martyr Abrar Fahad, Rizvi shared a poignant moment seated beside Abrar's father, Barkat Ullah, who recalled voting for Rizvi during the 1990 RUCSU election when Rizvi was elected Vice President. The BNP leader remarked that Abrar Fahad was brutally murdered under the previous autocratic regime specifically because he dared to protest against national concessions made to neighboring interests that weakened Bangladesh's sovereignty. Highlighting the sacrifices of Chhatra Dal activists on the streets, Rizvi noted that the nation's collective outrage over Abrar's martyrdom laid the groundwork for the 2024 mass uprising, concluding with a firm vow that nationalist forces will fiercely resist any attempt to compromise the country's national interest.
