The 43rd founding anniversary of the Daily Janata was celebrated with enthusiasm in Parbatipur, Dinajpur.
The anniversary event was inaugurated on Friday morning at 10:00 AM in the conference room of the North-West Fisheries Extension Project by local Member of Parliament Alhaj AZM Rezwanul Haque. Daily Janata Editor and Federal Union of Journalists President Obaidur Rahman Shaheen attended as the chief guest.
Presided over by Daily Manabbarta Editor AZM Menhajul Haque, the event featured special guests Daily Janata In-charge Jahangir Khan Babu and Dinajpur Union of Journalists President Sadakat Ali.
Conducted by Daily Janata's Parbatipur correspondent Mizanur Rahman, the program was also attended by Daily Karatoya correspondent Monjurul Alam, NTV staff reporter Farooq Hossain, and Dinajpur Union of Journalists General Secretary Mahfizul Islam Ripon, among others. Following the anniversary celebration, a views-exchange meeting for divisional representatives was held at noon, drawing district and upazila correspondents from across the division.
