
Eleven individuals have been arrested by the Narail Sadar Police Station along with local weapons while appearing in court for a scheduled case hearing. The operation was led by Investigation Officer Ajay Kumar Kundu under the overall supervision of Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Russel Sarowar, acting on specific information.
Police raided a lawyer's chamber within the Narail court premises on Sunday (September 20) around 12:00 PM and apprehended the suspects. All arrested individuals hail from Charkandipara village under Kolabaria union in Kalia upazila of Narail district.
During the search, law enforcement officers recovered lethal local weapons, including sharp daas, choppers, and ramdas, from their possession. The simultaneous arrest of eleven armed individuals caused a major stir in the court area and raised serious security concerns among the public and legal practitioners.
Confirming the arrests, Narail Sadar Police Station OC Mohammad Russel Sarowar stated that legal action is underway against the accused. Police are thoroughly investigating the specific case they were attending and the actual motive behind carrying weapons inside the court premises.
