An introduction and exchange meeting for new district members of the Sherpur district branch of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Samabaya Dal was held on Saturday evening (September 19) at the conference room of Hotel Aysan Inn.
Principal Nur Afroze Begum Joyti, President of the central committee and former reserved seat Member of Parliament, attended the event as the chief guest. Presided over by the newly elected district branch President Md. Rashedul Hossain Dear, the meeting featured central committee Organizing Secretary Md. Fazlul Kader Lutu as the special guest.
Among others, newly elected General Secretary Md. Mukul Hossain and Organizing Secretary Md. Hatem Ali also delivered speeches at the event.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest Principal Nur Afroze Begum Joyti stated that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is working tirelessly with fresh plans to clear away all the debris left by the fascist government and rebuild the country. However, she warned that a clique remains engaged in deep conspiracies. "To preserve our nation's sovereignty, we must remain vigilant. We will move the country forward by countering all conspiracies. Let us unite under the guidance of our Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to strengthen his hands and work from our respective positions to fortify the party," she added.
