A fire broke out in a gas cylinder-laden truck at FNS, a ready-made garment factory under Pretty Group in Ashulia, Savar. Upon receiving the alert, two units of the DEPZ Fire Service rushed to the scene and began containment work. The incident was reported to fire service personnel around 6:50 PM on Sunday (September 20) at the factory located in the Jamgora area of Ashulia.

As the intensity of the flames increased, two additional units from the Jirabo Modern Fire Service joined the firefighting operations.

Somen Barua, Warehouse Inspector of Ashulia DEPZ Fire Service, confirmed the incident, stating that while the fire alert came in around 6:50 PM, heavy traffic congestion on the Pipail road caused a slight delay in reaching the spot. Currently, four units are actively working to bring the blaze under control. No casualties have been reported so far from the incident.
