An exchange meeting regarding cleanliness and dengue prevention was held with representatives of various voluntary organizations in Pirojpur district. The meeting took place on Sunday (September 20) at the Shaheed Abdur Razzaque-Saif Mizan Memorial Conference Room of the Deputy Commissioner's Office.

Pirojpur Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Abu Sayeed presided over the meeting, which was attended by representatives from multiple local voluntary organizations. Discussions centered on further intensifying the district's overall cleanliness activities, increasing public engagement, and leveraging the active role of volunteer groups to ensure a clean environment.

The meeting placed strong emphasis on coordinated efforts to destroy Aedes mosquito breeding grounds, clear accumulated water, clean up garbage, and raise public awareness to combat the spread of dengue. Deputy Commissioner Abu Sayeed urged volunteer representatives to actively participate in cleanliness drives from their respective positions and mobilize the general public. He also highlighted the necessity of strengthening coordination and cooperation between the district administration and voluntary groups in ongoing public health campaigns.
