DHAKA — Bengal's music plays on. Arnob has announced a mega open-air concert at Suhrawardy Udyan next month, with 50,000 fans expected for a night spanning Baul mystics to Leonard Cohen.
The show — titled 'Hok Kolorob 2.0' — will feature 20 guest artists, a 40-piece orchestra and, organisers promise, 'a surprise reunion the internet will break over'. Tickets from Tk 500 go on sale Friday, with student discounts.
'Dhaka needs to sing together again,' Arnob said. 'One field, fifty thousand voices, zero divisions.' We will be there.
