A special musical concert titled 'Huthat Rastay Office Onchole' (Suddenly on the Road in the Office Zone) will be held in Dhaka on October 2 to honor legendary West Bengal singer, lyricist, and composer Kabir Suman.
Organized by cultural platform Ajob Karkhana, the tribute show will take place at the Butter Note Jazz Cafe in Banani. Local artists Autumnal Moon, Rezaul Karim Leemon, and Nahid Hasan are scheduled to perform a selection of Kabir Suman's iconic tracks alongside their original compositions.
Joy Shahriar, head of Ajob Karkhana, stated that the event aims to celebrate Kabir Suman's immense influence on Bengali singer-songwriters across generations. Advance tickets are available through Ajob Karkhana's social media platforms, with the show scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.
