The play was last staged in February 2024 at the National School of Drama's (NSD) 'Bharat Rang Mahotsav' in Delhi, India. Stagings were paused when its sole actor, Arya Meghdoot, moved to England to pursue chemistry at the University of Oxford on a scholarship. Meghdoot, who first debuted in the role as a tenth-grade student when the production premiered in October 2021, returned to Bangladesh on university vacation following her second-year final examinations. Written by Asadul Islam and directed by Anisul Haque Barun, the production portrays the poignant wartime life and loneliness of young Anne Frank hiding in the Secret Annex during World War II.
