A 17-year-old college student and model named Mahmudul Hasan Siam died after accidentally falling through the window grill gap of a fifth-floor room at Hotel Ambassador in Uttara Sector 1 under Airport Police Station around 4:30 PM on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Following the incident, police arrested three of his companions—Risan (23), Mim Chowdhury (20), and Amira Khan (22).
According to Airport Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Alamgir Hossain, Siam, a resident of Muktagacha in Mymensingh, had checked into the hotel five days prior alongside his three colleagues for modeling and media shooting assignments. Preliminary inquiries suggest Siam lost his balance while attempting to take a selfie near a fifth-floor window and fell through the open grill gap, dying on the spot.
