The directive was confirmed through an official press release issued on Thursday (September 24, 2026) by Faysal Hasan, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Home Affairs. According to the press statement, the ministry has taken this firm decision to establish structured committees within all schools, colleges, universities, and other academic bodies nationwide to curb the spread of narcotics and illegal gambling practices in educational environments.
