Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Uttara West Police Station Khalid Mansur confirmed on Monday, November 2, that Rajib was identified after his public Facebook post went viral, in which he claimed responsibility for torching a police van in Mirpur-11 during Sunday's garment worker demonstrations. As a specific criminal case regarding the police vehicle arson had already been filed at Pallabi Police Station, Uttara West Police completed initial legal formalities and officially handed Rajib over to Pallabi Police Station for further interrogation and legal action.
