As per annual tradition, thousands of devotees and followers (Ashekan-Zakeran) from various districts of the northern region have embarked on a journey towards the Atroshi Darbar Sharif of Biswa Zaker Manzil in Faridpur, carrying bamboo rafts (bhur) to fulfill the directives and seek the satisfaction of the Pir-e Kebalajan.
Believing that fulfilling the Pir's instructions brings spiritual proximity and leads to heaven, these devotees leave their families and toil day and night to head toward the Darbar Sharif. Historically initiated in 1975 following the Pir's directive to assist impoverished followers in offering bamboo as a gift, the tradition has grown from just two bamboo rafts to thousands participating annually.
Each raft accommodates 15 to 30 devotees, taking 7 to 15 days to reach the Darbar from various northern areas. Throughout this long journey, their daily routines—including cooking, prayers, and remembrance (zikir)—take place right on the floating rafts in the middle of the river. The collected bamboo will be utilized for constructing residences, pandals, and cooking arrangements for the upcoming annual holy Urs.
