Following their title-winning campaign in the inaugural edition of the GD Trophy last week, the Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team is set to begin an intensive training camp on Sunday (September 20) in preparation for their upcoming bilateral series against Afghanistan.

A total of 22 cricketers have been selected to join the 14-day training session scheduled to take place in Sylhet. The camp will focus primarily on enhancing skill sets and optimizing physical fitness ahead of international exposure.

Following the conclusion of the Sylhet conditioning camp, the Youth Tigers will depart for Oman on October 10. Bangladesh U-19 will face Afghanistan U-19 in a five-match One-Day International (ODI) series hosted in Oman.

Preparation and Tour Schedule

• Recent Success: The Under-19 squad enters camp following a dominant performance throughout the GD Trophy, securing the championship title in the tournament's first edition.
