National Parliament Whip and Shariatpur-3 Member of Parliament Mia Nuruddin Ahmed Apu has stated that a railway line from Dhaka to Kuakata via Shariatpur will be constructed during the BNP government's tenure.
Speaking as the chief guest at the fresher's reception program for eleventh-grade students at Shariatpur Government College on Wednesday (November 4) afternoon, Whip Apu announced that the Minister of Communications and the Railway Secretary will be brought to Shariatpur to inaugurate the feasibility study for the railway project. He also expressed optimism about establishing an agricultural university and a science and technology university in the district.
