DHAKA — Durga Puja, the largest festival of the Hindu community, was celebrated peacefully across more than 32,000 mandaps with round-the-clock security and volunteer patrols.

In Dhaka, Muslim neighbours joined immersion processions, and community kitchens served all comers regardless of faith.

Police reported no major incidents, crediting coordination committees formed in every district.
