Train stoppages at the Mirpur-10 and Mirpur-11 Metro Rail stations resumed at 12:25 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, following a temporary 35-minute suspension triggered by violent confrontations between police and garment workers demanding wage increases.
According to official sources at Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), police recommended closing entry gates and suspending train stops at both stations from 11:50 AM as a precautionary safety measure due to escalating street unrest. As a result, passenger entry and exit were temporarily blocked. Once street conditions stabilized, normal station boarding and alighting resumed at 12:25 PM, while main line service along the entire Uttara North to Motijheel corridor operated without interruption.
